Search volume is how often a term is searched per month, usually averaged over twelve months.

Tools such as Google’s Keyword Planner give estimates. For Switzerland the numbers are often small because the market is small – that doesn’t make the terms worthless.
The value of an enquiry matters more: ten monthly searches for “company formation Zug English” can be worth more than a thousand for “accounting”.
